All about Rechargeable Batteries. – The new technology.

Read this only if you...

... use power intensive (hi-draining) devices such as digital cameras, MP3 Players, Game Boy, CD Players and Walkmans,

... have and use Ni-Cad batteries,

... want a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 40% longer,

... want a rechargeable battery that has no memory,

... would like a charger that offers fast (100min.) and trickle chargers,

... would like a charger that charges each battery according to it's individual state of discharge.

NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries are the latest technology that has enabled more capacity into the same space. In fact user manuals for cameras prefer these to alkalines.

Even the NiMH capacities have increased in recent months as well from 2000 mAh to over 2700 mAh.

What the mAh all means is a longer duration for you plus a higher energy level longer.

The old Nickel Cadnium (NiCds) have now been superseded by NiMH in so many ways you will wonder if you should trade up now. Well let me show you the facts.

Introducing the Maha brand of NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) recharger & batteries.

*

Charges AA or AAA cells.

*

Use for NiMH or NiCd.

*

"Smart" Charger, won't over-charge.

*

Choice of fast (~100 minute) or slow/gentle (~5 hour) charge cycles

*

Packed with cigarette lighter adapter for mobile use.

Each battery gets a dedicated charger, this means that each cell will be optimally charged, extending the life of battery sets. One, two, three, or four at once according to its needs.

It offers the option for either a 100 minute fast charge, or a very gentle ~5 hour medium-speed charge. This lets you manage the life of your battery packs better, using the gentle 5 hour charge for those times when you're not in a particular hurry, yet still having the 100 minute fast charge to fall back on when you need the cells charged right now.

How long can NiMH batteries last?
Last up to twice as long as ordinary rechargeable batteries.

Can be recharged up to 1000 times!

Memory free operation means you can charge PowerEX batteries anytime you like.
Excellent for power intensive devices like digital cameras, MP3 Players, Game Boy, CD Players, Global Position Systems, etc.

Versatility

The C401FS handles both NiMH and NiCd batteries, automatically detecting the two different battery types and adjusting its charging profile to match. It also supports any combination of AA or AAA batteries, thanks to two sets of contacts, and circuitry that reduces the charging current for AAA cells, to avoid damaging them.

Four Independent Charging Circuit

Unlike some ultra-fast chargers on the market, the MH-C401FS charger has four independently controlled channels to charge and monitor each battery individually. This allows each battery to be charged to its full potential without risk of overcharging, enhancing the life of your battery. The charger can charge one, two, three or four batteries.

This makes traditional "battery conditioning & cycling" unnecessary as the pulse eliminates the memory effect just by charging the batteries.

You can safely leave them in the charger indefinitely. Storing them? They will lose 1-3% of their charge per day. With the rapid charge option a quick before you go out is all you'll need to top them up. There is no memory to worry about!

NOTE: Run with the cover open!

Don't run the charger with the lid closed, as this will drastically increase the peak cell temperature, with the expected effect on battery life.

Whenever the batteries are inserted in the charger, always leave the charger lid open to allow better cooling.

WARM BATTERIES? It is normal for NiMH & NiCD batteries

to become warm while being rapid charged. Temperature may reach as high as 131 degree F. (55.C)

Operation

It couldn't be much simpler - With the charger plugged into its power source, insert one, two, three or four AA or AAA cells in any combination, and away you go. The charger immediately begins charging the batteries, and the indicator LEDs light red. When the full-rate charging is complete, the LEDs turn green, and the charger enters trickle mode. A flashing red light means a faulty battery.

You can leave the batteries in the 401FS after they're charged, to keep them topped off.

The easiest way to purchase would be to deposit the money into their bank account.
