The following simple instructions can be applied once certain
default settings in Outlook Express are changed. This configuration is
ideal for new users who want to just check their email, and disconnect straight
away.
Ø
It allows them to open O.E. without being bothered or
pressured by the dialler to Connect.
Ø
They can then compose new, or read old emails that will
rest in their Inbox/Outbox awaiting the next Send/Receive command, thereby
allowing all emails to be sent at once.
Ø
It also stops addresses from being added to their address
book of whom you have replied to. Sometimes you will reply to businesses just
the once, and never intend to correspond again, so why clutter up your address
book with strangers?
Ø And in case
they forget to disconnect, it will do it automatically after checking.
